IRON DAMES GEAR UP FOR A THRILLING RETURN TO THE EUROPEAN LE MANS SERIES IN 2024

The Iron Dames are set to make their mark once again in the highly competitive European Le Mans Series (ELMS) for the 2024 season. Building on their experience from previous campaigns in 2019, 2021, and 2022, the pink all-female line-up is poised to bring their knowledge and determination as the only all-female line-up to Europe’s most prestigious tracks.

ELMS stands as a benchmark championship for top-tier drivers and cutting-edge racing teams globally. The Iron Dames have already made their mark on this championship. In their debut in 2019, the magenta team had a strong season ending on a fourth place in the overall GTE class. Another historic moment took place in 2022 at the 4 hours of Portimão, as the team was the first to achieve a victory with an all-female crew.

The team will be competing this year in GT3 Class with the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Michelle Gatting, the Danish driver who helped the team to its maiden win in 2022 in ELMS, is the first to be confirmed in the Porsche, with the other drivers to be announced at a later date.

Alongside their commitment to ELMS, the team is set to take on the challenges of the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) and the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), a thrilling global competition programme, marked as their most ambitious undertaking since the project’s inception. The Iron Dames, with their commitment to excellence and history of stellar performances, are ready to face the challenge head-on. True to their identity as “women driven by dreams”, they will pursue victory on the track and remain committed to breaking barriers and inspiring the next generation.
