IRON DAMES UNVEILS ‘EVERY DREAM MATTERS’ PROJECT FOR 2024 24 HOURS OF LE MANS

As the Iron Dames team approaches their sixth consecutive participation in the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, they do so to mark another exciting chapter in the legacy of the project. As they prepare to take on the race of legends, they do so with the ambition of achieving a strong result, but also with a genuine sense of purpose.

Among the elite teams and drivers from around the world, our 2024 line-up of Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting, and Rahel Frey not only stands as a trio of formidable contenders but also as a beacon of female empowerment and inspiration for youngsters.

This year, Iron Dames is presenting “Every Dream Matters”, a truly unique project that combines education and cutting-edge technology, involving children in the creative process of the car’s livery to create a one-of-a-kind design that captures the essence of childhood imagination.

To bring this vision to life, we engaged not only with our fans on social media but also with pupils from an elementary school in Le Mans. In an unforgettable day filled with joy and emotion, our drivers visited the school to share their inspiring journey as “Women Driven by Dreams,” and encourage the students to envision and draw their own dreams for the future. All these drawings were then transformed into stunning patterns using advanced AI algorithms to enhance the Iron Dames livery, symbolising the team’s unwavering commitment to promoting inclusivity, diversity and the limitless potential of every individual.

For the first time, these children will have the opportunity to see their dreams come to life on the racetrack as they will join us at the Circuit de la Sarthe.

As the Iron Dames strive to drive this one-off car to the podium, they will be fuelled not only by their team spirit but also by the collective imagination of these children and the responsibility to live up to their dreams.

The car will be presented for the first time on Friday 7 June in the city centre for one of the highlights of the Le Mans experience, the traditional technical inspection in the presence of the Iron Dames drivers, before heading to the circuit in preparation for the race, which starts at 4pm on 15 June.

Deborah Mayer, Project Founder, Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting and Rahel Frey will share their mindset and ambitions ahead of the race, as well as the genesis and meaning of the “Every Dream Matters” project at Thursday 13 June at 11:00 (CET) at the team hospitality in the heart of the paddock.
