The Iron Dames project, renowned for its commitment to advancing gender diversity and inclusivity, is thrilled to announce the launch of “Iron Dames Young Talents”, marking a new step forward in the project’s mission to create opportunities for aspiring female racers.
This new initiative is designed to identify and nurture young female karting talents aged eight to 13, providing them with a platform to pursue their passion for motorsports and embark on a journey towards a potential career in racing.
Structure and Process
The programme consists of two categories: MINI and JUNIOR with talent identified through scouting events around the world. The scouting process involves a rigorous assessment of driving skills, passion, determination and work ethic.
The most promising girls are given the opportunity to join the Iron Dames as ‘young talent’ and benefit from tailored development programmes. They will be coached and mentored by experienced motorsport professionals and have access to the resources and facilities needed to enhance their training and development.
As members of the Iron Dames family, they will benefit from an exceptional environment in which to grow and succeed, following in the footsteps of our most experienced and successful drivers, as well as the new generation of pink karting talent such as Natalia Granada, Vicky Farfus and Mia Oger.
