Staged every summer for 30 years, Goodwood Festival of Speed is part of the legend of motor sport and has become an unmissable event for all motor sport enthusiasts. The Iron Dames are delighted to return this year to celebrate motorsport and cultivate passion with the fans gathered from all around the world, especially among the youngest.
The Iron Dames look also forward to tackling the world-famous and thrilling hillclimb, together with the greatest legends of past and present motorsport. At the wheel of their pink Porsche 911 RSR – 19, Sarah Bovy and Rahel Frey will be keen to put their driving skills to the test and fly the flag of women in motorsport on the iconic 1.16 mile leading to the top of the hill.
This year Goodwood celebrates 75 years of motorsport, linking the glorious heritage of motor sport and its ever-changing future, which aligns perfectly with the Iron Dames DNA.
Since the project was launched in 2018, the Iron Dames have already made motor sport history by competing and achieving top positions at the highest level of endurance racing. But the project is firmly focused on the future, with the aim of inspiring and encouraging the younger generation to believe in their dreams and embrace carrer in motorsport.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is being held over four days from 13-16 July 2023.
