Showjumping became her vocation and lifelong journey.
Since 2005, Giulia has competed wearing the Italian Air Force uniform, benefiting from their support while building her equestrian career. She co‑founded SGH Stables alongside her husband and coach Stefano Cesaretto, developing a top‑level operation that focuses on training and producing talented show jumping horses.
Among her career highlights are multiple medals at the Italian Senior Championships, including two golds and two silvers. Notably, she became the first Italian female rider to win the national title twice and, in 2024, secured it for the third time — making her one of the few women to achieve this since the championship’s inception in 1967.
Internationally, Martinengo Marquet has been a constant figure in Team Italy at multiple Nations Cups and major championships with big successes at the highest level in the sport.
